GENERAL

• Outer Shell PB-cLc2: Arai’s Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2) increases strength and flexibility while keeping the helmet lightweight and lowering the centre of gravity. The eye port band enables a thinner EPS liner for a better upward view. A special fibre mat strengthens the bond between Super Fibre layers without adding weight. New Z-Mixture resins improve adhesion, resulting in a thinner, lighter shell.
• Variable Axis System A (VAS-A): VAS-A simplifies visor swaps for tool-free attachment and removal. The peak is secured with one screw on each side for easy installation. VAS lowers the visor position by 10mm, improving impact energy dispersion and providing a larger, clearer field of view.
• 3 Configurations: Versatile styles for adventure, on-road, and off-road riding, with no additional parts needed for changes. The open eye-port is optimized for goggles.
• Innovative Peak: The new peak improves ventilation, high-speed airflow, sun blocking adjustability, and resistance to buffeting, enhancing comfort during rides.

VENTILATION

• Tour-X5 Ventilation: The Tour-X5 has an entirely new ventilation system. With a total of three intake vents and five exhaust vents, the ventilation is further improved from the previous generation. Stay cool in any situation
• Free Flow System (FFS): Creates airflow under the helmet that reduces wind noise and turbulence while increasing the exhaust of hot air
• Hidden Multi-Stage Air Channel: Allows hot air to be pulled out of the helmet through 3 holes in the EPS liner to the Twin Venturi Exhaust ports
  

FRONT VENTILATION

• 3D Arai Logo Duct: The new 3D Arai logo duct, just 3.5mm deep, features two central 10mm intake ports, a first for Arai, enabled by the PB-CLC2 shell's strength. It effectively channels 40% more airflow at 50km/h and 7% more at 120km/h. The duct can be easily opened or closed with a lever accessible even with gloves; if the logo is visible, the duct is open. Designed to break away upon impact, it enhances glancing off ability.
• Centre Top Vent - Intake: The centre top vent improves airflow while maintaining a low profile. It is designed to break away upon impact to enhance glancing off performance. The vent features three positions—closed, half open, and fully open—to adjust airflow and prevent water intrusion when closed.
• Three Position Chin Vent: Three-position chin vent helps in demisting the visor and offering fresh, cool air to the rider
• Inner Chin (Bar) Vent Shutter: The inner chin vent shutter, with the mouth shutter, lets you adjust airflow into the helmet. With both shutters open, air is directed to the mouth; if the outer shutter is open and the inner is closed, air flows to the visor to reduce fogging.

REAR VENTILATION

• Neck Exhaust Vent: To enhance hot-air extraction from the interior. Increases the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet
• One-Piece Rear Exhaust With Spoiler Function: The one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, inspired by the DF-X2 of the RX-7V Racing and tested up to 300km/h, is redesigned for touring use. Positioned forward on the shell and fed by three ports, it enhances airflow while smoothing airflow around the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting during highway overtaking. This results in less rider fatigue. Made to be thin and lightweight, it is designed to crush or break away on impact without compromising safety.
• Side Exhausts: The side exhausts create low pressure behind the rear vent for improved hot air extraction. Integrated into the shell for better aerodynamics, they reduce wind noise and buffeting at speed. Inside, a small noise-reducing foam absorbs excessive noise without compromising ventilation performance.
• Rear Duct: The air-through top-rear-duct centre brace also functions as a goggle-strap locator. The diffusers can be removed or replaced quickly and easily by removing a single screw on the rear-duct centre brace

AERODYNAMICS

• Retractable Pull-Down Chin Spoiler: The retractable pull-down chin spoiler minimises wind intrusion at the helmet's base and helps expel hot, humid air around the cheek pads. This coordinated ventilation, along with fresh air from the chin vent, reduces visor fogging and wind noise.

VISOR

• VAS Max Vision Visor (VAS-A): The VAS Max Vision visor maintains the wide field of view and visibility expected from an Arai Tour-X model. The Pinlock 120 XLT insert effectively resists fogging in extreme wet conditions across the entire field of view.
• Pinlock Insert Lens Included: Prevents misting and fogging, even in damp conditions, and can be easily cleaned and replaced.

INTERIOR

• Antimicrobial Liner Material: Maintains neutral acidity levels and antibacterial properties for a comfortable fit. The softer liner frame and adjustable temple padding allow for customisation.
• Replaceable Cheek Pads / Ear Cups: Easily removable and cleanable with lukewarm water and mild soap. Various thicknesses are available for a custom fit.
• Replaceable Interior:  The complete interior is removable and can be cleaned with lukewarm water and mild soap, ensuring a custom fit with different thickness options.
• Replaceable Chinstrap Covers: Cleanable with lukewarm water and mild soap, with options for various thicknesses for a custom fit.
• Replaceable Neckroll: Also cleanable with lukewarm water and mild soap, offering different thicknesses for customisation.
• Speaker Pockets: Designed to accommodate communication system speakers without causing pressure points (speakers not included).
• Facial Contour System (FCS): Enhances fit and comfort with foam spring support in the cheek pads that compresses and rebounds for necessary support without excessive pressure.
• 5mm “Peel Away“ Cheek Pads / Ear Cups: Feature a 5mm peel-away layer for additional room if needed.
• 5mm ’’Peel Away’’ Temple Pad: Provides an option for 5mm more interior width if required.

Start with measuring your head to get an idea of the size to look for: measure (in cm) the circumference across the forehead, above the eyes and ears and over the small bump at the back of the head, read the size where the tape joins.

Returns Information

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
